I literally never encountered a grocery bag that has holes intentionally punched in. I do, however see them in product packaging.

There's some drive to have them put in as a small suicide prevention measure.

In the UK a few supermarkets had holes in their free bags. I haven't checked the new paid bags.

I don't put liquids in the bin. Food scraps are composted.

I also used store bags to take my lunch. Does anyone not reuse plastic bags?
