I'd like to get HN audience's opinion on how to build a tech brand. Assuming you already have a consumer/ecommerce company, what steps should you take to get recognized as a technology company? Amazon, Netflix, LinkedIn, are among companies who have successfully done this. What do you think works best for a smaller company?
