I think this is the problem. The c-suite at MSFT is full of people who were in the software industry in 1980. I don't really know who all is on the board, but they definitely need to get some fresh blood in the executive offices.

I think you should ask if they're informed enough. More data (informed) beats better algorithms (smart).
