What does PFS do that Knative+Riff doesn't get me?
Is the title even accurate? It sounds/looks more like "Pivotal creates branded offering of Knative+Riff and uses one of their main selling points as their headline feature", but maybe I'm just biased from past impressions of Pivotal marketing. Especially since it seems to be in contact-only early access.
Good question. I work at Pivotal. PFS is a commercial, supported packaging of Riff (which adds dev and ops aspects to Knative). As opposed to running and supporting the OSS components on your own.
Pivotal Function Service (PFS) builds directly on Kubernetes via Knative (https://github.com/knative/) and Project riff (https://projectriff.io).
