It's the same argument about file hierarchies. Apple doesn't think users should even be aware that there is a file hierarchy (iOS). I don't think users are confused at all by files and folders. But somehow Apples seems to think they are.
What I do not understand is that the percentage of people who didn't grow up with a computer is only going to go down, not up. These evolutions I think go in the wrong direction.
