Really? Stories can't be nonfiction? I don't see that implication at all. Ever hear the story of Albert Einstein on the train? Galileo's trial? The sinking of the Titanic?
Anyway, other reasons to like it being called a story
* Stories require two people, a teller and a listener.
* Stories have an ending.
* Stories are relatable to people who otherwise might not know they care about your product
* The user is the hero of the story (i.e. the developer is the opposite of condescending by putting others first)
