Blocking people is a solution. I don't like it either, but if your target audience is solely the US, I can see why you might decide to do that.
Edit: Agreed... placating people with lies doesn't help.

Totally makes sense, but if you block just say "we don't serve out of US", don't bullshit with "we are coming up with a solution".
