Ask HN: Tool for compiling regular customer and team updates?

Would the tool described below be useful to you (as an entrepreneur, consultant, or team lead, for example)? Does something like that exist already?

Situation: Entrepreneurs, consultants, marketing departments, and team leads alike need to regularly inform their audience (usually customers or their team) about relevant news, such as a new product releases, fixed issues or helpful articles.

Problem: This information is usually scattered across various systems and resources. Compiling such an update document can be tedious and expensive. Not only do you need to search for the information to be included in the update but you usually also have to manually copy & paste that information into the document to be sent to your audience.

Proposed solution: A tool that automatically suggests relevant information to be included in the next update, e.g. Jira issues and releases completed since the last update, Trello cards moved to a list since the last update, or company blog posts.

These suggestions could then either be accepted or rejected and complemented by additional free text.

The finished document could then either be exported as an HTML page or a new blog post or newsletter issue could automatically be created or sent (using Mailchimp, for instance), respectively.
