I assume the use case there is that you create a meeting and then put the link in the calendar invite that you send. But, I'd like to know more about how long your "own" that meeting URL before it expires. I'll ask in the jitsi forums.
The meeting technically exists as long as there are participants. Anyone can join the url so if you pick something unique and hard to guess you'll probably be the only one to ever use it.
