Yes. If by Agile you mean development practices like continuous integration (periodically integrating changes into a single environment so that the system can be tested) and creating short feedback loops like devs testing their code; and by Scrum you mean creating team routines for reviewing assumptions and the team talking directly to customers; and periodic reflection to improve processes, then yes, I do.

Daily Standups are supposed to be Daily Planning Sessions for the Team. But the common implementation has devolved into status update meetings.

So the con is that, more likely than not, it will be a status update meeting, in which case, a waste of most people's time.

If it's a Daily Planning Session, there are no cons, only pros.

The pro is team alignment, with each other and with project objectives and goals, with only a maximum of 24 hours for possible misalignment.

Misalignment is ALWAYS the problem. Daily Planning Sessions help mitigate that ineveitability.
