No methodology works right out of the box and it’s insane to think that any could. You have to look at your specific requirements and mold Agile around your team. Agile literally says to do this but most just ignore it.
The more thought you put into your methodology, the better it will work. I know most want Agile to replace critical thought because they don’t want to have a target on their back if things go wrong but there is no substitute.
