However it’s also a dangerous tar pit for rule followers. Whatever you do, make sure you review all procedures to decide if they make sense for your team. Don’t follow them blindly. Kanban is an approach with less ceremony.

Problem is that software, frontend in particular, attracts low-grade authoritarian personalities who are ok being vessels of the "rule-of-law" and so aren't aware enough to perceive something doesn't work after enough unsuccessful iterations
