Er... the scrum specific ceremonies are supposed to be a starting point for a team. The point of retros is to adapt your process to the team's needs as you go. So if your experience of standups, plannings, retros etc is bad it is by definition because they were doing bullshit scrum and not adapting.

Scrum and all agile processes are owned by the development team (including the PO). If they're imposing a cost and not bringing value to the developers, you're supposed to change them.

And then, based on the comments seeing here, you are doing it wrong because
