When I read this all I could think was "alot, alot".. http://hyperboleandahalf.blogspot.com/2010/04/alot-is-better...

When I see projects like this I think "you know, I'm pretty sure we're going to be alright".

If the maker sees this - thanks for making the world a weirder place.

Absolute insanity. Look at the PCB layout and schematic! I love this project, even if I can't click on the helicopter money.

There's a video here https://youtu.be/B44-N4iJcH4

It would be helpful to hear some sounds it can generate.

I'd love a cash register sound, something like http://cd.textfiles.com/sbmm/SOUNDS/REGISTER.WAV

Link to website where you can also find sound examples (just below the first image):

Bravo. This restores my confidence that there are still creative hackers out there doing things besides trying to "get funded".

This project of his piqued my interest, a VCO implemented with a fan and a light source: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JsPBkBx3YpA

Reminds me of the Make Noise 0-Coast: http://www.makenoisemusic.com/synthesizers/ohcoast

A Buchla/Moog-style hybrid! Thank you very much for sharing that one! Creates really interesting sounds.

Here is their playlist "patch of the week": https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RZphtLBSPXY&list=PL0jGFC0FWQ...

The first one did not get me, but the rest contains several gems.

Is this one satire as well?

No it is very real and very cool, they make some of the raddest synths around

No, but they're both eurorack semimods with insane, repatchable circuits.

No sound???
