Currently working on a codebase overhaul / migration to AWS of a suite of ~60 .NET applications.
Previously, and for the longest, worked in a sports betting auction startup, starting from the very beginning as the second engineer on the team, up to product launch and beyond.
Did a bit of everything, mostly backend development, cloud, a bit of FE, all the way to leading a small team of DevOps and cloud engineers. Also had an episode of game development sprinkled in.
Privately (and academically) interested in Rust, I'd love to use it on the job. Almost had a chance of that on the last recruitment round, but it didn't pan out :(
Looking primarily for an interesting challenge, which isn't soul-sucking, and isn't pure infrastructure plumbing. Not afraid of something esoteric. Looking to recover that joy of creation which brought me to this field.
