May i suggest to you to check out what the (strange name i know) /e/ foundation is doing? Not a trillion dollar company by any means but still worth taking a look at IMHO. Builds on LineageOs MicroG, Google free. You can even buy phones from them with the OS preinstalled, Fairphones, refurbished older Samsung Galaxy S and a GigaSet are offered.
