I don't think I've seen any evidence of that. I also don't see why Apple would need GS for that. Each bank needs to support Apple Pay, and Apple likely just integrates directly with Visa, Mastercard, Amex, etc.

Apple Pay is a Apple->payments-network; Apple Card is payments-network->GS/Apple. Apple Pay with Apple Card is the two tromboned together.
