Is this a thing in ukraine at all? I haven't seen any evidence of it. All the references to that mary with a missile thing end up pointing at the same english language sources on the internet.
All the orthodox christians I know have only expressed revulsion at that image, but of course none of them are in ukraine right now so I don't know if it's received differently there. My suspicion is that it's nearly totally unknown over there.
