Throwaway for obvious reasons...

Don't bother with Opencraft unless you are really desperate for a job. They are inches away from being a sweatshop. Compensation is a joke, and it only makes sense to work for them if you live in a place with unbelievable low cost of living. They say they "filter out candidates they can't afford". Well, it seems like all they can afford is young recent grads who don't mind working for $30/hour, pre-tax, without any benefits. And they will nick-and-dime you over the hours worked. Look at Glassdoor, you will see accounts of people who were in the "trial period" and didn't get paid at all for their work.

If you live anywhere that resembles a developed country, you can make more money by delivering food with Uber than writing code. And it will be less stressful too, because you won't have to deal with their shitty codebase.

I'm not saying it's false, of course—we have no way of knowing—but Who Is Hiring threads aren't a feasible place to have the community hash this sort of thing out.
