Inkscape, GIMP and the Godot IDE have run great. Light gaming: minecraft on somewhat reduced settings, older windows games on Wine, terraria, and stardew valley all fine. Anything in a browser? Horrible.

Use UBo in the browser. Also, chrome based browsers have a --light switch.
