30% flat tax is worse than the current corporate tax in the US, what's insane is it's been like that since forever, and Valve also get away with it, even more insane considering they are all a monopoly

Sure, and you can pay for App Store ads separately... The issue is not that Apple charge for exposure, but that you are forced to.
