Social facilitation (performing tasks better with others around) is an incredible result in social psychology (with active research into it extends into VR and alongside robots! [0-2]). I learned about it through the ADHD community, which calls it “body doubling”, but the phenomenon can be used by anyone for virtually any activity. [3]
