Research and Development should really have a hierarchy when it comes to issues that most people on the globe would consider essential. All the money that is going into tech/new gadjets I am sure some of it would have been useful and would have driven the quest to find a solution to clean up pfas and others.

That whole mentality of fix it when the issue is high up enough in the public eye is really one of the things that is wrong with our society.
