I asked ChatGPT-3.5 for my supervisor. Half a year ago, it could describe him, say his field of subject, his institution, ...

It replied today: "I don't have any specific information about [...] in my training data up to September 2021."



Lol, I just tried again. And it indeed it gave the correct description


Your supervisor? Why would it know anything about a random person?


It knows about a lot of people. Try asking it about yourself. They've scraped the whole internet including linkedin so if you have an online presence it will know about you.

It gives me some pretty hilarious hallucinations about myself.


And that random person doesn't have an online presence such as a LinkedIn profile, etc?


He's Professor at university. Nowadays, you have to go for the more famous ones
