I think that goes against the philosophy of free software, also, as long as there’s no standardized way of making these icons, I absolutely support theme-ing them so at least I have a consistent look when I open my apps drawer, to be honest, a lot of free software developers are great programmers but they are horrible when it comes to visual design, UI or even icons.
