I recenty started using the Apple Card out of convenience with Apple Pay.
This morning I received an email that my account was blocked. I attempted to log in to check, but I couldn't. So I called the number and spoke to someone after a while on hold. She mentioned it was just as a precaution - a minor issue.
The agent told me the first step to unblocking the account was resetting my Apple password. Of course, this is a huge pain since it requires logging in again across all of my devices and kids/spouse accounts that require it for purchases.
This seems like it could happen frequently since the block was triggered as a precaution. IMO this is a deal breaker since the whole point of using it is convenience. This is a shame since the rest of the experience is quite nice.
Just a heads up for anyone else who decides to try it.
Do you use your apple ID to log into your kids/spouses devices or do you have some kind of setup where they have their own apple ID but you just login with yours for purchases? Genuinely curious. If it's the latter, I didn't know that was a thing.
