Let me start with this. My initial reaction from the first iPad still holds. Why not touch macOS? There is just one answer: Profit. The business is not in solving user problems. It is to create a shiny toy with a limitation which you promise to solve in the near future. I moved away from iPad for drawing and just use it for a second screen on the go. For mobility, I have a smartphone. It is getting ridiculous in an Apple camp. You introduce the last processor on a iPad? But iPad still is not a full laptop or desktop replacement? Why?


Because you'll buy one regardless.


Yet, even after 14 years to catch up users still prefer iPad to Windows tablets. The OS is a pro, not a con.

It makes sense since iPad is refreshed less often. Other M4 hardware is right around the corner.

Depends pretty much on the region.


It's the sum of all regions that matters.


In that case, the sum is around 50% in world market.


Did you read the article? It is full of questions. I use Apple computers since 1998. And I am still not a fanboy. I am a user.

Calling a spade a spade is actually a much-needed improvement in today's landscape.
