That's very cool. But QML is so great and easy, I don't see why I should use this, except if I'm insisting on programming with Python. But then, I must remind myself that much of QML code is compiled to C++ these days[1], so there must be some big performance difference between the two?

Anyway, that's still very cool.

Yeah, “insisting on programming with Python” is exactly the reason why you would want to use Edifice.
