The YouTube UI has got to be the pushiest, most bizarre UI I've yet encountered. It appears to be purposely designed to trick you into more "engagement".

At the same time, it somehow succeeds to feel barren even though the amount of content there is virtually endless. I get the same recommendations for months, with repeated videos grouped into different rows, half of which I either watched already or will never watch according to the historical data of being shown to me a thousand times and being ignored every time.
