If we don’t assume bad intentions, this could simply be the evolution of single-product companies growing into multi-product companies.

If a company was going to release products called Facebook, Quest, Instagram, WhatsApp, etc, why would they name their company after just one of those products?


There must be some kind of fundamental defect then.
