Maybe it will take Air Force One falling out of the sky to realise for Boeing that they are doing something wrong.
I think it's understandable - nobody wants to overwork themselves at sweatshop Boeing, so they have to lower the requirements to find at least a few people willing to work there.
Should Boeing change they culture instead? Yes, a million times, by now it is a few years late. Will they, as long as there is no pressure on them and they are too big to fail? Remains to be seen, though I have my bets.
