That honeymoon just really hasn't been what is claimed.

For example, I hear senders confidently claiming that they know what their open percentage is, then I point out not for any even vaguely security conscious user. MPP obscures in one direction, I and many others don't allow our mail clients to open linked anything thus obscuring in the other direction.

And many people simply will not hand out email addresses that we care about in the first place.

Anyhow, it would be nice if marketers learnt about "consent" sometime soon.


That was one long-ass honeymoon, if you want to call it that :)
