I feel like they're pretty conjoined. If you're working from home, why can't an AI just replace you? AI is great at performing narrow jobs, if you're a part of the company you're needed to build relationships and help grow the company in creative meaningful ways that can't be done remotely. The author seems to have a pretty pessimistic view of everything
