MCP was just something they thought up as an idea, not a hard standard. Because we had nothing before.

1. Company invests in newest fad 2. Takes backside of napkin drawing as integral part of their company 3. ? 4. Profit

The article is not wrong in its findings, but the conclusion "hey, this stuff isn't much tested is it?", could have been assessed upfront.



I agree, that's the problem

I'm not sure MCP was designed to be as popular as it is today

But given that it is, and that many people are deploying in critical production settings, all these problems should somehow be addressed, because right now it feels like a mess
