You know, the thread is not as bad as it could easily have been. It's problematic, of course, but not off the scale.

Thanks for respecting the guidelines. It matters a lot for established users to set good examples.

Maybe it's because it's such a big issue. The more minor something is, the louder the arguments seem to get.
