Yeah, precisely because it is a library and can be used with many different frameworks. Lately I was convinced that all frameworks should die and be rewritten as reusable and - important - interoperable libraries. jQuery is a good example of such a library.

I am very reluctant to commit to a framework. But I like using jQuery.
